The Meetings of Open Minds II, 26.10.2017

The second event of the "Meetings of Open Minds" series was devoted to Marian Smoluchowski, a brilliant Polish physicist, on the occasion of the celebration of his 100th anniversary of death.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Stanislaw Janeczko, Prof. Piotr Przybyłowicz SiMR PW, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Prof. Mirosław Karpierz, and among the invited guests - special guest professor Bogdan Cichocki from the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the University of Warsaw. The theme of the meeting was Marian Smoluchowski's life and scientific achievements, his extremely important impact in the "bringing on atoms to life" or recognition of their reality, in researching how the case appears in the deterministic world, and also in solving the puzzle of blue sky color.
