In the Center of Attention – Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of Poland visits CAS
On 3 February 2015, one held a meeting within the In the Center of Attention series, this time with the participation of a Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of Poland – Mr. Olgierd Dziekoński.
During the meeting, Prof. Stanisław Janeczko (CAS Director) presented the Center’s main goals, activities and achievements. Apart from Prof. Stanisław Janeczko, Warsaw University of Technology was represented by Prof. Leon Gradoń, Prof. Małgorzata Lewandowska and Prof. Tomasz Sosnowski as well as by a few of the most excelling PhD students – CAS scholarship holders. The gathered discussed contemporary issues related to the Polish system of higher education. The outcome of this meeting was establishing future cooperation with the Center as an advisory body in the field of science and education. Mr. Dziekoński is planning to visit CAS again to discuss possible options of streamlining the laws governing institutions of higher education.
