Expert Seminar -Prof. Stephen Yau, 5.07.2016
Center for Advanced Studies WUT invites to the seminar titled "Kohn-Rossi cohomology and nonexistence of CR morphisms between compact strongly pseudoconvex CR manifolds”. The lecture is taking place in The Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, at 8 Śniadeckich St., Warsaw.
The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Stephen Yau from the Department of Mathematics Statistics and Computer Sciences at University of Illinois, Chicago.
Professor Yau’s research interests concern algebraic geometry, singularity theory; complex geometry; CR geometry, nonlinear filtering theory; algebraic geometry code, information theory, control theory, financial math, image database, computer software testing, bioinformatics. Professor Yau is a managing editor of Journal of Algebraic Geometry and an editor-in-chief in Communications in Information and Systems. He is an author of cir. 300 publications.
