TOPTECHNIKA - Applied AI: Outstanding Opportunities and Challenges - Artur W. Dubrawski, 14.02.2023

The Center for Advanced Studies of the Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the WUT Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences invite you to a lecture by Prof. Artur W. Dubrawski of Carnegie Mellon University (USA), whose research area is the field of computer science.

Prof. A. Dubrawski is interested in intelligent systems that are useful and make economic sense, and in finding ways to build and implement them effectively. In his work, the scientist focuses on applications of these systems in the real world, currently in the areas of public health, food safety, nuclear safety. This includes exploring new machine learning algorithms and data structures to facilitate probabilistic modeling, predictive analysis, interactive data mining and understanding.

The reading will be held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences of the Warsaw University of Technology, 75 Koszykowa St., Warsaw, in room 329 at 2 p.m., on February 14, 2023.

Interested parties are welcome to attend the event.
