Visiting professor Takuo Fukuda, 09.11.2018
On 1th of November 2018 the Center for Advanced Studies hosted a visiting professor, Takuo Fukuda.
Professor Takuo Fukuda is an outstanding mathematician specializing in analysis and topology. Since 1999 he has been associated with the Department of Mathematics, Nihon University in Japan.
Previously, Takuo Fukuda worked at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the title of professor emeritus. In 1981-1982 the mathematician stayed at the Department of Pure Mathematics, Sydney University as a visiting professor.
