Was awarded the Medal for a Young Scientist in 2012 for her outstanding achievements in examining sulphur-rich core complex compounds and their correlations with polymeric materials, and also for working out new precursors for obtaining semi-conductor layers.
Dr. Anna Mietlarek-Kropidłowska’s main areas of research are: solid state physics and chemistry, structural analysis, material engineering (especially polymers), coordination chemistry. Dr. Mietlarek-Kropidłowska is a winner of numerous awards, for example the Award for Outstanding Young TA&C Researcher in Central & Eastern Europe (2011).
