12th CAS Scientific Workshops, 23-25.10.2015, Kazimierz Dolny
The 12th series of CAS Scientific Workshops took place at Kazimierz Dolny on 23-25 October 2015, leading by prof. Stanisław Janeczko, CAS director.
In the workshop participated doctoral students with their oral and posters presentation as well as Scientific Committee consisted of representative of academic staff and authorities of Warsaw University of Technologies : Rector prof. dr hab. inż. Jan Szmidt, vice-rector prof. Krzysztof Lewenstein, prof. Zbigniew Brzózka (Faculty of Chemistry), prof. Stanisław Janeczko (Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science), prof. Piotr Przybyłowicz (Faculty of Automotive And Construction Machinery Engineering), prof. Jan Słyk (Faculty of Architecture).A special lecture titled An introduction to Nanotechnology : Nanomaterials and their specific properties for various applications was presented by prof. Michael Giersig (Freie Universität, Berlin). Six laureates were rewarded in two categories: “oral presentation” and “poster”.

III prize – Łukasz Piątek (Faculty of Architecture)
Traditionally CAS workshop delivered to the young scientists opportunity to exchange their scientific experience, research results and integrate as members of the academic community of WUT.
